The Masters, Wardens, and Secretaries Association of Masonic District 8 created the My Brother’s Keeper Award to provide an avenue for the Masonic Lodges of District 8 to recognize a member for his service to his lodge, his community, and Masonry and the Community at large. The Master of each lodge appoints a committee to select a member or members and make a recommendation to the lodge. The Association provides one award for each lodge at no cost. The awards are presented at a banquet for that purpose at the location and time chosen by the Association. Normally the banquet is in August.
